HEM MULTI TURN ACTUATOR

The HEM series multi-turn electric actuators are exceptionally versatile. They are compatible with linear stroke valves such as regulating valves, gate valves, and globe valves. Furthermore, they can be seamlessly equipped with part-turn worm gearboxes. This feature allows them to be used with quarter turn valves, including butterfly valves, ball valves, and plug valves, thus showcasing their extensive adaptability.
To maintain optimal performance and longevity, it is advisable that the running speed is moderated when the actuator is directly installed on the gate valve, considering the inertia effect and the potential wear of the drive shaft sleeve. is directly installed on the gate valve.
The torque can be finely tuned, with the maximum torque set in both directions at the nominal torque level. The locked torque is influenced by speed and voltage, and it generally ranges from
1.4 to 2 times the nominal torque.
For operations at 60Hz, it is recommended that the speed be increased by 20% to ensure efficiency.
Power specifications include 380VAC/3PH for both on-off and modulating types, accommodating up to 600 starts per hour, with an optional upgrade to 1200 starts for modulating types. Note: For basic types exceeding 36RPM, there is no overtorque protection.
