The adaptable HEM series multi-turn electric actuators are masters of compatibility, effortlessly harmonizing with linear stroke valves such as regulating valves, gate valves, and globe valves. Beyond this, they can be innovatively paired with part-turn worm gearboxes, allowing them to integrate seamlessly with quarter turn valves, including butterfly valves, ball valves, and plug valves, thus greatly expanding their application possibilities and versatility.
To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended that the operational speed be moderated when these actuators are directly mounted on gate valves, taking into account the inertia effects and potential wear of the drive shaft sleeve.is directly installed on the gate valve.
The maximum torque is expertly configured in both directions at a nominal torque. The locked torque is subject to variations in speed and voltage, typically spanning
between 1.4 to 2 times the nominal torque, ensuring robust and reliable performance.
For orders utilizing 60Hz, speed adjustments are necessary to 1.2 times the original to maintain consistency and efficiency.
380VAC/3PH models are designed to meet the demands of both on-off and modulating types, boasting an impressive capacity of 600 starts per hour (with an option for 1200 starts in modulating types). Basic types operating beyond 36RPM do not include over-torque protection, highlighting the importance of precise operational settings.
