Versatility at its best—the HEM series multi-turn actuators are designed to complement linear stroke valves such as regulating, gate, and globe valves. Furthermore, they can be paired with part-turn worm gearboxes, enabling compatibility with quarter turn valves including butterfly, ball, and plug valves, providing comprehensive control solutions.
For optimal performance, considering the inertia effect and potential wear of the drive shaft sleeve, it is advisable to maintain a moderate running speed when directly installed on gate valves.
Each direction's maximum torque is preset at nominal levels. Note that the locked torque varies with speed and voltage, typically
ranging between 1.4 to 2 times the nominal torque, ensuring robust performance.
When operating at 60Hz, increase the speed by a factor of 1.2 to maintain efficiency.
For 380VAC/3PH systems, choose between on-off and modulating types, supporting up to 600 starts per hour, with 1200 starts as an optional upgrade for modulating types. (Note: For basic types exceeding 36RPM, overtorque protection is not present.)
